Every so often, we will update this news feed with info on the projects we're currently working on or recently finished.
This is the state of play as of 17th February 2022:
1. Shinfield Meadows, Reading, Berkshire
Client: Bovis Homes Ltd
672 homes across a mix of 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom houses, plus a selection of apartments. Tenures include private sale, shared ownership, and housing association rental.
We have been on site at Shinfield for approx. 8 years across this large development.
2. Coronation Fields, Park Lane, Wokingham
Client: Countryside Homes Ltd
140 new-build homes for sale, shared ownership, and rental. We have maintained a steady team of painters on site for approximately 12 months, delivering a first-class finish to all plots in this area of intense new housing development.
3. Bucklers Park, Crowthorne, Berkshire
Client: Bovis Homes Ltd
167 new-build houses and apartments for sale and rental. We have a long-standing relationship with this division of Bovis Homes spanning around 10 years.
Our association with Bovis goes back much further – our first project with them was in Witney, Oxfordshire, and our founder Mick Philpott worked on a Bovis Construction site of 6 industrial units at Railway Terrace, Slough, as far back as 1984.
4. Milestone Road, Carterton, Oxfordshire
Client: United Living Ltd (social housing specialist)
200 affordable houses and apartments.
5. Glynswood Road, High Wycombe
Client: Vistry Homes Ltd
50 houses and apartments. Commenced January 2025, completed September 2025. This project was awarded the NHBC Quality – Pride in the Job Award for the overall quality of the homes delivered on site. Congratulations to Darryl, the site manager, on winning this prestigious award, and a big thank you to our team whose quality and consistency of finish made it possible.
6. Wolvercote Mill, Wolvercote, Oxford
Client: Cala Homes Ltd
190 houses and apartments in the beautiful village of Wolvercote on the edge of Oxford. This prestigious scheme involves the refurbishment of original mill buildings – repurposed as apartments and townhouses – alongside the construction of 160 new-build townhouses. The former Wolvercote Mill historically supplied the University of Oxford with paper.
The existing mill buildings gave us the opportunity to showcase our specialist skills: all steelwork to the refurbished structures required intumescent (fire retardant) coatings applied to the relevant BS Standards.
The project was completed over two years, maintaining the high finishing standards Cala Homes expect from us. We have worked with Cala Homes continuously for over 10 years, and with their predecessor in this region, Banner Homes Ltd, for 20 years prior to the Cala takeover.
7. Orchard Green, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Client: Bovis Homes Ltd
87 houses and apartments across a mixed tenure housing scheme.
8. Barton Park, Oxford
Client: Countryside Homes Ltd
223 townhouses and apartments on this large mixed tenure housing scheme on the outskirts of Oxford.
9. St George's Hospital, Wandsworth, London
Client: City & Country Ltd
One of the most prestigious developments currently under construction in the London area. City & Country, renowned specialists in high-end refurbishment, are transforming the former hospital estate into over 200 luxury apartments and duplex properties.
